Compensation: $65,000 – $70,000 base salary + potential bonus

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing accounting team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build on a strong general ledger foundation while gaining exposure to more complex accounting responsibilities. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a structured environment that values development, progression, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and supporting schedules
• Analyze variances and assist with identifying trends or discrepancies
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data
• Contribute to process improvements and increased efficiencies within the accounting function

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a larger or more structured organization
• Strong general ledger experience and understanding of core accounting principles
• Demonstrated career progression with increasing levels of responsibility
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Desire to continue learning, developing, and advancing within accounting
