Irrigation Tech

As an Irrigation Tech, you will play a crucial role in understanding irrigation requirements, solving problems, performing repairs, and conducting audits and installations to meet client needs. Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Irrigation Manager, receiving training and guidance to perform duties efficiently and effectively.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to address issues and demonstrate creativity in overcoming obstacles to achieve goals.
- Record and submit work orders to the Irrigation Manager.
- Work independently or collaboratively with the irrigation team to ensure proper repairs and audits are completed.
- Ensure daily hours are billable and comply with job specifications, quality, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the management team to solve specific problems or develop solutions.
- Inspect equipment and vehicles to ensure proper maintenance.
- Respond to client requests promptly and work with the Irrigation Manager to resolve concerns.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain clearance for Fort Eisenhower Air Force Base.
- Physical ability to work outdoors for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 pounds (or up to 100 pounds with assistance).
- Experience in irrigation systems and repairs is preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Compensation
Pay range starts at $20.00 per hour , based on experience.
