We are seeking an experienced Transactional Business Attorney with a strong background in Business Transactions and intellectual property law to join our growing practice. This role requires a strategic legal advisor who can provide sophisticated counsel on corporate matters while delivering exceptional drafting and negotiation expertise across complex transactions. You are able to bring an established portable book of business. Ideal for someone who can interact and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal counsel on corporate governance, transactions, and business operations
• Lead and manage business transactions, including acquisitions, sales, development matters and more
• Advise clients on intellectual property rights, including copyright and trademark protection, enforcement, and compliance
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements
• Structure and negotiate transactions with precision and strong risk mitigation strategy
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop innovative and commercially sound legal strategies
• Support business development initiatives and maintain client relationships
• 5 to 11 years of consistence Corporate Business Transactional work and representation

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the Georgia Bar License
• Extensive experience in corporate law, business transactions, and intellectual property (copyright and trademark), minimum 6-10 experience
• Demonstrated portable book of business
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Strong client management and interpersonal communication abilities
• Ability to operate independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Bar Requirement: Active Georgia Bar Membership

Salary: Starting salary $155,000.00+, dependent upon Business Transactional law experience the opportunity salary could be more
