Warehouse Worker - Record Storage

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this Job Description is to establish and define the authority, accountability, reporting relationships, responsibilities, duties, and measures of performance of a Warehouse Worker. The basic function of a Warehouse Worker is to ensure the proper loading and unloading of trucks, accurate receiving and put away of items to be stored/inventoried in the warehouse, the accurate and productive picking of work orders, security of the premises, inventory control, proper completion of paperwork and adherence to standard housekeeping practices and safety policies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately and productively picks, stages and loads work orders.
• Ensure that all outgoing work orders properly inspected and recorded using standard practices and scanners.
• Ensure that warehouse incoming warehouse items have been properly unloaded and accurately reconciled upon receipt using established procedures.
• Regularly uses computer to order or inventory information. Must understand basic warehouse computer functions.
• All required work orders are completed, signed and returned to office personnel in a timely manner.
• Accurately, timely and productively receives items and properly scanning of document boxes and files for put away.
• Frequently operates scissor lifts at a height of twenty four (24) feet above the floor.
• Maintains a clean driving record and can meet all driver qualifications for backup purposes.
• In case of accident or injury follows proper procedures.
• Maintains a positive attitude and works well with team members and members of management.
• Ensures and improves customer satisfaction by being a professional and courteous representative of the Company.

EDUCATION

Required: High School diploma.

LICENSING/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION

Required: Valid Driver’s License.

Required: Over 21 Years Old

EXPERIENCE

Preferred: One (1) year or more of warehouse operations experience.

BODY POSITIONS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, operate forklifts and scissor lifts and load/unload trucks for prolonged periods of time.

BODY MOVEMENTS: The employee must have a full range of body movements including use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, computer equipment and peripherals; and bending, reaching, and crouching.

BODY SENSES: Must have command of all five senses: sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Vision requirements in each area must be sufficient to shift in focus from computer screens to printed documents.

STRENGTH: Must have the ability to lift seventy five (75) pounds with regularity
