Senior Sales Manager
The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the strategic growth of our Layer Picker Solutions (LPS) across the North American market. This role focuses on market development, opportunity identification, and the execution of solution‑based sales for our standardized automation offering, which integrates advanced layer‑picking technology with AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) systems. The position requires a highly self‑motivated sales leader with strong technical acumen in logistics and automation, capable of engaging key stakeholders and understanding complex operational challenges. The Senior Sales Manager will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams in Denmark to align customer needs with product capabilities. As market maturity increases, the role may expand to encompass larger automation projects within our broader solutions portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Layer Picker Solutions (LPS) across North America.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within key industries such as distribution, logistics, food & beverage, and retail supply chains.
- Build and manage relationships with end-users, integrators, and strategic partners.
- Lead the complete sales cycle including prospecting, opportunity development, contract negotiation and closing.
- Translate customer needs into automation solutions together with technical and engineering teams.
- Work closely with the Denmark-based product team to align market feedback, product capabilities, and customer requirements.
- Promote the value of standardized LPS solutions while identifying opportunities for broader project-based automation systems.
- Participate in trade shows, customer demonstrations, and industry events to strengthen market presence.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and CRM reporting.
- Act as a market ambassador by providing insights on trends, competitors, and emerging customer needs.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or a related field.
- 8–12+ years of experience in technical sales within automation, intralogistics, robotics, or material handling systems.
- Proven success selling complex technical systems or automation solutions.
- Strong understanding of warehouse automation, robotics, palletizing, and logistics systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical specialists and business decision-makers.
- Experience working in an international or cross-functional environment.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to develop new markets and build long-term relationships.
