Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Shift: Nights – 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Duration: 14 weeks
Job Duties
• Provide perioperative nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR).
• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular surgical procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery.
• Prepare and manage surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Document patient care and surgical details per facility protocols.
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation and weekend coverage.
Requirements
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (State of Georgia or compact)
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• BLS (AHA) required (ACLS likely required – confirm with recruiter)
• Ability to take call (weekday + rotating weekends)
• Strong clinical skills to pass clinical screening
