This per diem position is designed for committed professionals dedicated to supporting academic, behavioral, and social development in students through personalized assistance. The role involves working closely with teachers to provide targeted support that enhances students learning experiences and promotes inclusive classroom environments.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 or small group academic, behavioral, and social support under teacher supervision
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and active classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Aid with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Compliance with TB testing as per district regulations
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Current background clearances or willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism spectrum disorder, or behavioral challenges
• Certification or experience in CPI, PMT, or as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) considered a plus
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented work approach
