Responsibilities and Impact:
As our Lead AI Engineer, you will be instrumental in building the next generation of intelligent platforms that transform how Market Intelligence delivers value to clients. Your work will directly influence enterprise-wide AI adoption, setting technical standards that scale across thousands of users while positioning S&P Global at the forefront of applied AI innovation.

Design and architect scalable LLM agent platforms that enable intelligent automation and decision-making across Market Intelligence workflows

Lead full-stack development of AI agent systems using TypeScript, Python, and LangGraph to create sophisticated conversational and analytical capabilities

Establish technical architecture patterns and best practices for LLM integration, ensuring robust, maintainable, and performant agent platforms

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex Market Intelligence requirements into innovative AI-powered solutions

Drive technical strategy for agent orchestration, prompt engineering, and model optimization to maximize platform effectiveness

Mentor engineering teams on AI best practices while contributing hands-on to critical platform components

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000. The final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

What We're Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience in AI/software development

7+ years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack development skills in TypeScript and Python

Proven experience with LLM frameworks and agent orchestration tools such as LangGraph, LangChain, or similar platforms

Strong architectural design experience building scalable, distributed systems and microservices

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying AI/ML workloads

Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineering teams Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Experience designing and integrating multi-agent systems and orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen

Experience evaluating and optimizing AI agentic systems at scale

Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular for AI application interfaces

Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or DataDog for AI system performance tracking

Experience with AWS AgentCore
