Automotive General Accounting Clerk
Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a detail oriented General Accounting Clerk. The General Accounting Clerk will work directly with the Office Manager and other office personnel to ensure the accounting office runs smoothly and efficiently.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accounts Payable
- Invoice processing
- Data entry
- Post car deals and Dealer Trades
- Assist with processing 3rd party warranty remits and cancellations
- Process daily bank deposits and credit card batch
- Conduct regular audits of schedules
- Assists the accounting department with administrative tasks
- Will work directly with the Office Manager with a goal of professional and personal development.
- Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
- CDK experience preferred
- Dealership Accounting experience preferred
- Basic data entry skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills required
- Must be able to multitask and follow directions
- Detail Oriented
- Positive attitude and eagerness to improve with strong work ethic
- Able to be successful in an individual and team setting
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Valid U.S. Driver's license and good driving record
- Must pass background check and drug screen
