With 50+ years honing in on an understanding of the land development process and application of advanced technology assuring you a quality result that is accurate, within budget and on time.

Job Description: As a Professional Land Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating surveying assignments. You’ll be involved in planning and developing surveying projects that address unique or controversial problems with significant impact on major organization programs. This includes defining scope, selecting problems for investigation, and developing innovative concepts and approaches. The Land Surveyor shall maintain liaison with individuals within and outside his/her organization, and may have responsibility for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to his/her field. Work at this level requires moderate progressive experience. Supervision received is essentially administrative, with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct mid-level sized projects or projects of moderate scope and importance.
- Assist in guiding the surveying program for an organization when the program is of limited complexity and scope.
- Participate in the conception, planning, and research associated with problem areas of moderate scope and complexity.
- Approach problems through a series of complete and conceptually-related studies, utilizing unconventional approaches and sophisticated research techniques.
- Stay abreast of advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes related to land surveying.
Qualifications:
- Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) certification is required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and construction plan reading.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to novel challenges:
- Digital terrain modeling
- Earthwork volume calculations
- Field data management
- Drafting topographic and boundary surveys
- Advanced problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
