Accounting Assitant
Job Title: Accounting Assistant
Location: Tallapoosa, GA
Pay Rate: $18 – $20 per hour (Based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant to support our finance team at our manufacturing facility in Tallapoosa, GA. This full-time role offers a great opportunity to work in a stable, team-driven environment with a global industry leader.
- Responsibilities:
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions - Reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Prepare and enter journal entries
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies
- Perform general administrative tasks related to accounting
- Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred - 1+ year of accounting or administrative experience (manufacturing industry experience is a plus)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
