Education:

High school diploma; bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or related field preferred.

Experience:

Three years of experience working in behavioral health or a hospital setting .

License/Certification:

N/A

Skills:

Good interpersonal skills to work closely with clinical and non-clinical staff, as well as communicate with family members and outside agencies in a professional manner. Effective oral and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability t o assist in crisis intervention and/or physical intervention with patients. May have some exposure to communicable/infectious diseases. May have some risk of injury from patients. Ability to walk, sit and stand for long periods of time .
