Adecco is assisting a client in Augusta, GA in their search for a Controlling Analyst to serve as a key finance business partner in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on product costing, P&L management, forecasting, and cross-functional budgeting, driving data-backed decisions and business growth.

This onsite role in Augusta, GA (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) is a 6-month contract with potential for extension or conversion, offering $45/hour.

You’ll support FP&A activities, partner with teams across the business, and provide insights through variance analysis, KPI tracking, and cost/margin optimization. This role offers strong exposure to leadership and is ideal for someone looking to grow into a future Controller-level role.

Key Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning

• Track YTD spend, accruals, and labor costs across cost centers

• Perform weekly/monthly variance analysis and KPI reporting

• Manage and analyze P&L performance in a manufacturing setting

• Evaluate product costing, margins, and make-vs.-buy decisions

• Partner with Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations, and R&D on business cases

• Support inventory, asset tracking, and material usage

• Prepare journal entries and work within ERP systems (SAP)

• Provide insights and commentary to support leadership decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics

• 4–5 years of experience in FP&A, controlling, or similar role

• Strong P&L and financial analysis experience in manufacturing

• Background in food/consumer products preferred

• Proficiency in SAP (or similar ERP) and advanced Excel

• Experience with financial accounting in manufacturing

Pay Details: $45.00 per hour
