Job Description

The Warehouse Clerk plays a vital role within the warehouse team, reporting to the warehouse manager and supporting the shipping department. This position involves managing inventory, processing orders, and ensuring the timely and accurate shipment and receipt of goods. The role requires operating equipment such as powered forklifts, conveyor systems, and RF scanners, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining quality control. The clerk also handles documentation and provides regular customer interaction during a standard 9-5 shift.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and conduct stock replenishment
• Process orders accurately and efficiently
• Handle shipping and receiving operations
• Perform data entry and maintain documentation
• Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing goods
• Operate warehouse equipment including powered forklifts, conveyor systems, and RF scanners
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations
• Provide customer support through regular interactions

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in warehouse operations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to operate lifts safely
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanning technology
• Knowledge of order fulfillment processes
• Basic math skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective time management
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
