About the Role

The Supervisor is accountable for the overall safety, security, efficiency, and cost-effective management of their team. The ideal candidate will lead by example, using their coaching skills to develop a culture of trust by inspiring, challenging and promoting the workforce while meeting corporate goals and customer business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Accomplishes staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; conducting training; implementing enforcing systems, policies, and procedures, health and safety.
  • Troubleshooting, identifying, analyzing, and reducing dirt and defects in paint to maintain quality in operations. Performing root cause analysis and providing baseline particle counts.
  • Organize and oversee team members in completion of tasks related to paint department cleaning.
  • Implement and maintain programs and procedures to facilitate a safer environment.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate employees
  • Performs investigations or studies involving emergency hazardous material control laws
  • Identify and label all chemicals with correct signage
  • Responsible for ensuring that each new employee, receives appropriate safety training at the start of employment.
  • Report all accidents or injuries that occur to their employees while at work.
  • Know and understand all safety guidelines set by the client
  • Must be willing to learn about defects and “dirt” and also be able to identify areas of improvement
  • Work with units that have been identified with defects to analyze and correctly identify the defects and report it to the client.
  • Responsible for generating various reports
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office and email communications
  • Inventory control and audits

Schedule:

  • This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work may include weekdays, weekends, holidays, night and day shifts.
