Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM (10 hours) Position Overview
The Class B CDL Driver will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of electrical equipment throughout the local Georgia area. This is a heavy?touch, physically demanding role involving frequent loading and unloading at construction sites. The driver will operate 26 ft. stack?body trucks and use pallet jacks to handle freight. Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class B CDL vehicle safely and in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Deliver electrical equipment to various construction sites across the local GA region.
- Perform heavy-touch freight handling , including loading and unloading materials.
- Utilize pallet jacks and other equipment to move freight as needed.
- Conduct pre?trip and post?trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Valid Class B CDL license and current DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting, pushing, and pulling.
- Experience operating 26 ft. stack?body trucks .
- Comfortable working in construction site environments.
- Ability to use pallet jacks and other freight?handling tools.
- Clean driving record and adherence to DOT standards.
