Overview

Senior Product Manager - Sage Fixed Assets. This role reports to the SSG NA Product Management Leader and drives the product strategy and roadmap for Sage Fixed Assets in the Sage Specialized Solutions Portfolio. The focus is to drive customer-centric innovation and modernize the products through deep understanding of customer needs and experience. The Sage Fixed Assets product helps SMBs manage their operational assets from purchase to disposal, staying tax compliant while maximizing savings and reducing operational costs. With the emergence of Sage AI tools, there is an opportunity to optimize and automate compliance and adjacent workflows.

This role is hybrid – three days a week out of our Atlanta office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate a clear product direction aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
• Conduct market research, analyze competition, engage with customers and partners to set the product strategy.
• Update the product roadmap and prioritize AI features and enhancements, including exploring how embedding generative AI-powered features can increase customer productivity.
• Collaborate with teams to create and maintain a well-defined product backlog with user stories, epics, and features aligned with the product strategy.
• Participate in select Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and sprint reviews.
• Partner with product marketing to contribute to product pricing, positioning, and go-to-market activities ensuring alignment with the product strategy.
• Analyze feedback with cross-functional teams (PMM, Finance, Sales, Customer Support) to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor usage data and listening posts to inform data-driven decisions and drive product growth.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress, milestones, and upcoming features.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of strategic experience in Fixed Assets products/services management with both on-premises and cloud.
• Experience with continuous innovation and design thinking to deliver outcomes.
• Familiarity with Sage Fixed Assets product and competitive alternatives.
• Well-known as a Fixed Assets expert/influencer in Accountant/Partner communities.
• Proven track record launching minimum viable products (MVPs) and applying a continuous learning approach.
• Ability to question the status quo and remove barriers to achieve outcomes.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills across diverse audiences.
• Experience collaborating with geographically distributed teams.
• Willingness to travel (5–8 times annually) for customer events, leadership meetings, and focused team activities.
