Job Title : Enterprise Asset Management Business Analyst (EAM NYSDOT Tableau OBIEE)

Location : Albany NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Qualifications:

• Proven experience implementing and managing Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions to support large-scale infrastructure and operational projects.
• Minimum of two years of hands-on experience working directly with New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) systems processes and functional requirements; experience with other state transportation agencies is also applicable.
• Advanced proficiency in Tableau for designing interactive dashboards analytical reports and data visualizations tailored for transportation and operational analytics.
• Strong background in data migration including transitioning legacy Microsoft Access databases into modern data warehouse repositories and enterprise data platforms.
• Experience with Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) including gathering data requirements producing geospatial reports mapping point-to-location data and documenting conditions within a GIS framework.
• Experience working with document management systems platforms and services including implementation configuration administration and governance.
• Skilled in Tableau for business intelligence reporting dashboard development and visualization of complex datasets.
• Experience analyzing and documenting business intelligence requirements for OBIEE including translating business needs into clear technical specifications.
• Strong background as a Business Analyst collaborating with agencies and business units to gather interpret and document functional and non-functional requirements in alignment with Project Management industry standards and Secure System Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) guidelines.
• Ability to collect organize and analyze customer and stakeholder requirements including feasibility assessments cost-benefit analysis and evaluation of alternative technical solutions.
• Proficient in translating business inputs into actionable insights that support decision-making and inform technical solution design.
• Experience with business process modeling to improve operational efficiency identify optimization opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction; skilled at recognizing patterns and conceptualizing end-to-end business processes.
• Hands-on experience with data analysis and data modeling for OLTP systems data warehouses and data transformation workflows using tools such as Oracle Data Modeler.
• Strong technical writing skills with the ability to produce clear concise documentation suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint) and MS Visio.
• Bachelors degree in Business Accounting IT or a related discipline.
