Sales Representative
Our client, a growing B2B software company, needs a Sales Representative to drive new business acquisition in the Southeast territory. This SaaS platform serves mid-market companies with workforce management solutions and has achieved 40% year-over-year growth. The sales team operates in a high-energy environment with strong support from marketing, sales development, and customer success teams.
The Sales Representative will focus on prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting product demonstrations, and closing deals with average contract values of $30K-$75K annually. Top performers earn $100K+ in total compensation through uncapped commission structure. This role offers clear advancement paths into senior sales or sales leadership positions.Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and lead follow-up
- Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect needs and qualify opportunities
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to prospect requirements
- Develop proposals and negotiate contract terms with decision-makers
- Manage full sales cycle from initial contact through contract signature
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity data in Salesforce CRM
- Collaborate with sales development team on lead generation strategies
- Attend industry conferences and networking events to build relationships
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales quotas consistently
Requirements
- 2-4 years of B2B sales experience with track record of quota achievement
- Experience selling software, SaaS, or technology solutions preferred
- Strong prospecting skills including cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to understand technical products and articulate value propositions
- Self-motivated with competitive drive to exceed targets
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with relevant experience
- Willingness to travel within territory approximately 25% of the time
