As a Security Professional - Defense Site - Part Time in Brunswick, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated areas, maintaining a visible presence, and verifying credentials at key entry points. Your role will involve interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing outstanding customer service while upholding important access control measures. You will also be responsible for documenting incidents and responding to situations with professionalism and integrity. This position requires driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license in the job state is necessary. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the aerospace and defense location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Implement site-specific access control procedures in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to address security-related matters and support emergency response activities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to provide proof as required by the client.
• Must have a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located if the position requires driving.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
