Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in the Savannah market. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, providing effective solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems.
• Respond to emergency plumbing calls and provide timely assistance.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and building regulations.

Essential Skills

• Five or more years running your own service truck.
• Must be able to troubleshoot plumbing issues.
• Experience with underground and above ground installation of piping.
• Must have experience reading and using blueprints.
• Ability to handle a physical workload.
• Experience working with hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Work with pex, pvc, iron pipe, plastic pipe, clay pipe, etc.
• Management skills.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a plumber operating your own workload.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Work Environment

You will be traveling to various commercial spaces in need of plumbing services. A company uniform is required. This position offers the opportunity to grow within the plumbing role, working the first shift Monday to Friday with one weekend on-call every five weeks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, GA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
