Opportunity:
Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech
Job Details:
• Minimum 2 years of experience required - first time travelers not accepted
• Work in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization laboratory with 2 rooms
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Patient population includes adults to geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CCI RCIS, State Licensed if applicable
• Travel experience required
• Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
• Participate in 4-person call team with 2 teams, every other weekend call
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Holiday requirements: work one major holiday if one falls during assignment, work both if two fall during assignment, work two of three if three fall during assignment
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Use Epic charting system, Pyxis, and SBAR communication
• Scrub colors provided by facility
• Full compliance required to start on time with 2-week push back for non-compliance
• Skills include diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement/removal, PCI, PTCA, pacemaker insertion, and various vascular interventions

This regional medical center features a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory providing both diagnostic and interventional cardiac services. The facility operates as a Trauma Level II center and maintains modern equipment and technology to support complex cardiac procedures. The organization emphasizes quality patient care with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services.
