Job Title: Senior Manager, HRBP Location: Atlanta, GA (hybrid) Position Summary Senior Manager Human Resources Business Partner, Operations and Americas region, is a critical leadership role responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and processes to support the business objectives of NCR Atleos and its vision to “expand access”. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing HR strategies and programs that drive performance and organization effectiveness. This will include initiatives such as: organization design, leadership development, talent management strategies organization change management strategies, employee and labor relations, supervisory capability and diversity, equity & inclusion. Further, the Senior Manager Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for leading and developing ER/LR talent to help them fulfill their roles to help the organization achieve its goals. The primary goal of the Senior Manager HRBP is to enable the success of the business through effective and strategic HR partnership with the critical functional leaders. Primary responsibilities are outlined below. Key Areas of Responsibility: - Talent Management & Engagement: Collaboration with HR functions and business units to identify and execute on talent needs and initiatives that enable business success.
- Conduct talent reviews.
- Identify learning and development needs and collaborate with Talent partners to develop and execute relevant programs.
- Assesses and monitor the effectiveness of learning and development initiatives against predefined metrics.
- Participate in the development of competency models to be used throughout the organization for selection, assessment, development and succession planning.
- Engagement: Oversee and implement strategies to boost employee engagement, satisfaction and well-being; Collaborate and drive accountability within senior leadership to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
- ER/LR: Address & resolve senior level or escalated employee relations issues; Engage with local unions and worker councils to execute the employee/labor relations strategy.
- Strategic Alignment: Align HR strategies and initiatives with the overall business objectives and goals. This involves understanding the business needs and ensuring that HR programs and practices support them.
- Consultation: Act as a consultant to the business leaders, offering HR expertise, guidance, and solutions for people-related challenges and opportunities.
- Data-Driven Insights: Utilize HR data and metrics to identify trends, assess the impact of HR programs, and make data-driven recommendations to improve HR & business practices.
- Legal & Risk Compliance: Ensure that HR practices comply with employment laws and regulations and mitigate legal risks.
- Culture: Cultivate an organizational culture to reflect the diversity, values, and goals of the company; Encourage a positive and collaborative workplace by promoting diversity, equity and inclusion within the organization; act as a culture champion.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Senior Manager HRBP Operations and Americas region will also lead the Americas region and in this capacity will be responsible for: - Lead and develop a team of HR professionals across Employee and Labor Relations.
- Facilitate the deployment of a labor strategy across the region and within specific countries where NCR Atleos has ongoing or risk of labor issues that is in alignment with NCR goals and direction.
- Owner of all cyclical event negotiations with unions for Americas.
- Ensure all elements of the negotiated union contracts are supportive of the overall philosophy and direction of NCR Atleos' labor and employee relations strategy and inclusive of changes, where necessary, to closer align newly negotiated contracts to the defined labor strategy.
- Develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholder groups.
- Work with the legal team and be knowledgeable of statutory changes relative to the labor and statutory environment for Americas.
Basic Requirements and Experience - Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ years of related progressive experience with increasing responsibility in Human Resources management
- Innovative knowledge of the principles, methods, and metrics of managing organization effectiveness and organizational development strategies that aligns to key business goals
- Experience in Employee Relations, including grievance, disciplinary, dismissal, etc
- Strong ability to lead and apply organizational and change management theories
- Excellent facilitation, public speaking, interpersonal, and communication skills required
- Experience leading team of HR Business Partners including direct responsibility (accountability) for goal-setting and performance management
