Position: Payroll Specialist

Job Type: (Remote)

Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing payroll for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, benefits, and deductions

- Calculate and process payroll adjustments, such as bonuses, commissions, and overtime

- Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies

- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees

- Respond to employee inquiries and resolve any payroll-related issues

- Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations

- Generate payroll reports and assist with audits as needed

- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing

- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred

- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing

- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and laws

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and payroll software (ADP, Paychex, etc.)

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
