MBSE Administrator

Position: Consultant / Sr. Consultant MBSE

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced MBSE System Administrator/Consultant to support and maintain enterprise-level MBSE tools and environments. This role involves system administration, application support, troubleshooting, and integration of MBSE software in a global engineering environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and optimize MBSE tools (Cameo Enterprise Architecture, Cameo Systems Modeler, Jazz Team Server, Teamwork Cloud, Syndeia, IBM DOORS v9.6.1, Rational Publishing Engine, Rational Requisite Pro, Rational Rhapsody, Model Center).

• Perform user account creation, license server management (FlexNet, LM-X), upgrades, patches, and regular system maintenance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve engineering application/system issues, ensuring SLA adherence and high user satisfaction.

• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure, compliant application usage.

• Support integration of MBSE applications with ERP, PLM, MES, and other business systems.

• Develop and maintain system/user documentation, knowledge base, and best practices.

• Participate in deployment, configuration, validation, and change control processes.

• Monitor system performance, recommend upgrades, and implement preventative solutions.

• Ensure compliance with global IT standards, policies, and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Mechanical, Aerospace, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering.

• 8 10 years of experience in Engineering/IT functions with global applications.

• 7+ years of hands-on experience as Sys Admin for MBSE systems on Windows & Linux.

• Strong expertise with MBSE software and license management.

• Proven ability to resolve complex technical issues and improve system performance.

• Experience in system documentation, deployment, and tool validation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash).

• Knowledge of cloud-based or virtualized engineering environments.

• ITIL certification or familiarity with ITSM.

• Experience in continuous improvement and process optimization.

• Strong multitasking and workload management skills.
