A Day In the Life as a Member Solutions Specialist
The primary role of a Member Solutions Specialist at MidSouth Community FCU is to preserve the credit union's assets by controlling delinquent loan accounts, collecting delinquent loan payments and/or recovering collateral while maintaining goodwill with the members.
The Member Solutions Department is a small team directly led by the Member Solutions Manager and housed at our Lasseter branch in Macon, GA. This department is a busy environment that contacts delinquent accounts by phone and mail, then takes the appropriate action to bring current. As a Member Solutions Specialist, you would analyze financial situations of delinquent borrowers and potentially make recommendations to repossess when other arrangements are unsuccessful. You would also inform management of trends in loan underwriting that contribute to delinquent/charged-off loans.

Additionally, we are looking for a person who is able to effectively balance priorities, while maintaining a level of high professionalism and courtesy to all members.
Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education: A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities becomes necessary.
How is the Work Schedule?
The Member Solutions Specialist position is a full-time role, working 40 hours weekly.
Starting Pay: $20.28 - $25.34/ hour
