Summary
The content manager for United Way of the Coastal Empire (UWCE) is responsible for creating and implementing compelling and engaging content for the organization's social media channels, as well as across a variety of digital and traditional platforms to include website, e-newsletters, videos, marketing collateral, blogs, and other related marketing projects

Position Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with three to five years of experience in marketing or related field
- Excellent writing skills; Writing samples will be requested
- Graphic Design skills; Design samples will be requested
- Professional experience with social media and email marketing tools
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, high energy, and outcomes-driven
- Understanding of non-profit fundraising
- Demonstrates strong communication and storytelling abilities
- Relationship builder, collaborator, and team player
- Ability to develop content on traditional and digital platforms Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suites, WordPress, and Hootsuite or similar graphic design and content scheduling programs
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee projects to ensure project deliverables, deadlines, and requests are met (Check requests for completeness, communicate with campaign owners on project needs and deadlines, move campaign through the editing and creative process to completion, etc.).
- Create, design, and implement social media content and calendar as well as monitor, moderate, and respond to audience comments, tags, and mentions.
- Develop campaigns to share United Way of the Coastal Empire's events, impact, and mission through compelling content on social media, email newsletters, the website, blogs, and other platforms.
- Maintain, organize, and track inventory of digital assets.
- Remain competent and current through self-directed professional reading, developing professional contacts with colleagues, and attending professional development courses Contribute to the overall success of the organization by performing all other duties as assigned.
