Accountants One is working with a Real Estate Client looking for a Lease Administrator to join their accounting and lease administration team. This role will support the Lease Administration Controller and Senior Lease Administrators while working closely with Property Management and Accounting teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Read, interpret, and administer commercial lease agreements.
- Set up and manage recovery review workflows.
- Maintain legal lease tracking and tenant lease files.
- Review leasing assumptions for budgets and forecasts.
- Run and post commercial tenant billings.
- Monitor lease expirations and communicate upcoming renewals.
- Assist with tenant recovery estimates and reconciliations.
- Serve as the first point of contact for tenant recovery audits.
- Support special projects and departmental initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 2+ years of experience
- Real estate industry experience preferred.
- Experience reading and interpreting commercial leases preferred.
- Yardi experience strongly preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
