Cost Analyst

Job Title: Cost Analyst
Location: Waynesboro, Georgia

Type: 3 year Contract
Compensation: $32.00 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite

System One is currently seeking a Cost Analyst on a 3 year contract position located in Waynesboro, GA.

Cost Analyst Responsibilities:

• Provide valuable insights that help management make informed decisions regarding budgeting, pricing, and resource allocation.
• Plan, collect and analyze data to determine costs of product production such as raw material costs, labor and overhead.
• Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing processes to determine impact on the cost of products.
• Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports and related analysis which compares standard costs to actual production costs.
• Assist in estimating cost of new and proposed products.
• Provide management with reports comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products inclusive of current inflation trends.
• Partnering with the operations teams to ensure proper inventory management, annual physical inventory validations and daily cycle counts are performed in accordance with policy.
• Establish overhead rates for inventory and labor and update as appropriate.

Cost Analyst Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience.
• 0-5 years in related cost analysis.
• Strong proficiency with office productivity applications (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience with integrated ERP software, Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
• Must be able to work independently and on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Superior organizational skills and attention to details.
• Work requires effective oral and written communications skills. Strong analytical skills.
