About the Opportunity

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Sparkloft is looking for a Paid Media Strategist to join our growing team! We’re seeking someone with a passion for digital advertising, a strong analytical mindset, and a commitment to driving measurable results for our clients.

As a Paid Media Strategist, you will be a critical part of our Distribution & Partnerships team, working closely with account managers, creatives, and project managers to design and execute impactful paid media campaigns. You’ll be responsible for developing media plans, optimizing campaigns across platforms, analyzing performance data, and delivering actionable insights to maximize ROI.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives on problem-solving, and has a deep understanding of paid social, programmatic, and search platforms.

You will also serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping translate their business goals into effective paid media strategies that cut through the noise and drive meaningful engagement.Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): creating and managing multi-channel paid media campaigns, monitoring performance and budget pacing, identifying opportunities for optimization, reporting campaign results with clarity and insight, and staying ahead of trends in the digital advertising landscape.If you’re motivated by results, excited by data, and inspired by the impact great media strategy can have, we want you on our team. Please note that, although we operate in a hybrid environment, we require team members to be in the office three days a week.

Job Summary
The Paid Media Strategist is responsible for developing and executing paid social media campaigns across multiple platforms, ensuring they align with client goals and deliver measurable results. This role involves audience analysis, creative planning, campaign execution, and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently manage client relationships for assigned accounts and support larger accounts alongside senior team members.
  • Develop and implement paid media strategies that help clients achieve brand, marketing, communications, and sales objectives.
  • Plan and execute media campaigns, including budgeting, copywriting, placement, optimization, and reporting.
  • Determine KPIs for each media plan and monitor delivery to the goal.
  • Collaborate with the Creative team to develop and test creative concepts and assets for paid campaigns.
  • Present campaign results and performance insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Work on new business opportunities as part of integrated team efforts, including media plans and client presentations.
  • Use analytics tools to evaluate campaign performance and recommend strategic adjustments.
Attributes & Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in social media marketing, with at least 2+ years in paid social media strategy (agency experience preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data and optimizing campaigns.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to craft compelling paid social content.
  • Experience in budget management, audience segmentation, and creative testing.
  • Proficiency in buying across all leading social media platforms.
