Position Summary

Beyond Juicery + Eatery is seeking an energetic, hospitality-focused Shift Supervisor to support daily restaurant operations and help lead a high-performing team. The Shift Supervisor plays a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining operational standards, developing team members, and ensuring smooth shift execution.

The ideal candidate is a positive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and is passionate about coaching others while creating a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and team members.

Key ResponsibilitiesShift Leadership & Operations

• Lead daily shift operations to ensure exceptional execution and guest satisfaction
• Support the General Manager in maintaining restaurant standards for food quality, cleanliness, safety, and hospitality
• Ensure all opening, shift change, and closing procedures are completed accurately
• Monitor product quality, portion control, and food safety standards
• Assist with inventory management, prep levels, and waste control
• Handle cash management procedures and maintain accurate cash handling practices

Team Development & Training

• Train and onboard new team members according to company standards
• Coach team members during shifts to improve performance and guest service
• Reinforce operational procedures, food preparation standards, and hospitality expectations
• Provide ongoing feedback and recognition to team members
• Help create a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture

Guest Experience

• Deliver exceptional hospitality and lead by example in all guest interactions
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently
• Ensure a clean, welcoming, and organized restaurant environment
• Build relationships with regular guests and create memorable experiences
• Promote a guest-first culture throughout every shift

Operational Excellence

• Assist with labor management by ensuring efficient staffing during shifts
• Monitor speed of service and overall shift productivity
• Ensure compliance with all health department, sanitation, and safety requirements
• Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant
• Communicate operational opportunities and challenges to the General Manager

Qualifications

• 1+ years of restaurant leadership experience preferred
• Previous experience as a Shift Leader, Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or Team Lead preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
• Ability to motivate and coach team members
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
