Job Overview: Account Manager
We are seeking a results-driven Account Manager with a hunter mentality to lead our efforts in identifying and acquiring new clients, expanding existing relationships, and achieving revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales presence, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for serving the K-12 education market.
Responsibilities
- Sell Virtucom service solutions to K-12 school districts
- Travel within the assigned territory to meet with prospects and clients
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers
- Accurately forecast sales activity on a weekly basis
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Meet individual and team sales targets
- Research accounts and proactively generate or follow up on leads
- Attend meetings, sales events, and trainings to stay current on industry developments
- Provide reports and feedback to management
- Maintain and grow the client database within the territory
- Proven sales experience with a strong record of exceeding quotas
- Familiarity with the K-12 technology market
- Willingness to travel within the territory
- Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM systems
- Strong pipeline management and sales strategy skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in general computer use
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and results-driven
