Administrative & Accounting Specialist — Alpharetta, GA
Full-Time | In-Office | $55K–$65K DOE + Benefits
We're an established office technology firm in Alpharetta serving businesses across metro Atlanta. Small, tight-knit team where initiative gets noticed and rewarded.
The Role
Our key admin/accounting professional is moving on, and we need someone ready to step in and own it. You'll handle order processing, meter billing, accounts receivable, and a range of accounting and administrative responsibilities that keep our business running day to day. Training overlap with our current team member will be provided to set you up for success.
What You'll Do
- Process customer orders accurately and on time
- Manage meter billing for our equipment fleet
- Own AR — invoicing, collections, reconciliations
- Support general accounting and office operations
- Jump in wherever the team needs a hand
Who You Are
- A "take the ball and run" professional — you spot what needs doing and handle it
- Hands-on experience with ECI e-automate strongly preferred
- Background in the office technology, copier, or equipment dealer industry is a significant plus
- Solid foundation in billing, AR, or admin/accounting
- Strong Excel skills required — comfortable with formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data cleanup
- Proficient in the broader MS Office suite (Outlook, Word)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable under pressure
- Team player with an "I'll handle it" mindset
- Clear written and verbal communication — you'll interact with customers on billing and collections
