Dispenser Lab Technician

Position Title: Dispenser Lab Technician (Mechanical)
Location: Roswell, GA
Duration: 6-month contract with potential extension up to 12 months based on performance
Employment Type: Contract role on W-2 through Above and Beyond Talent Acquisition, Inc. (A&B Talent)
Work Arrangement: Onsite, 20–40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, no weekends)
Pay rate: $24.00 - $29.00

Who we are looking for / Requirements:

• 2–3 years of relevant lab or technical experience in addition to a high school diploma
• Basic mechanical or DIY skills and familiarity with common tools
• Basic electrical understanding, including batteries and simple circuits
• Ability to log and analyze data, track improvements, and operate testing rigs using computers
• Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Performance Objectives / What you'll be doing:
Dispenser Testing

• Conduct standard and non-standard testing of prototype and commercial dispensers.
• Build and mount structures to support dispenser testing.
• Assist in developing and refining testing methods.
• Communicate test results to engineering teams and support process improvement.

Dispenser Complaint Resolution

• Analyze returned dispensers and identify root causes of issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to resolve customer concerns.
• Support field teams by providing technical guidance and documentation.
• Contribute to video guides that help customers troubleshoot common issues.
• Occasional travel to customer sites (approximately twice per year).

General Lab Responsibilities

• Maintain lab safety and cleanliness standards.
• Keep equipment and tools organized and operational.
• Support product shipments to external labs and customers.
• Stay familiar with the full dispenser range and associated testing protocols.
• Ensure the lab is always tour-ready for customer visits.
