Sheet Metal Fabricator

We are currently seeking skilled and reliable candidates to join a growing sheet metal workshop in Eatonton, GA. This role supports the daily fabrication, assembly, and finishing of metal components. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, safety-minded, and comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. We have two types of positions available: - Entry-Level: Ideal for candidates with mechanical aptitude, a solid work ethic, and an interest in manufacturing. - Experienced Fabricator: Requires previous sheet metal fabrication experience, including proficiency in CNC punch/laser operation and press brake setup. This role involves handling complex jobs with tight tolerances and contributing to workflow optimization. Pay rate starts at $18.00 with a review at 3 months. Responsibilities

Operate fabrication equipment

Support senior technicians and operators

Finishing and grinding of welds

CNC programming or set up

Advanced press brake forming

Lean manufacturing awareness

Ability to read measurements

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 75lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
