Position Summary :

Role-players are pivotal in simulating realistic, dynamic law enforcement scenarios as part of student training, ensuring operational fidelity and superior outcomes in scenario-based instruction. Role-players are assigned based on scenario appropriateness (age, gender, physical ability, background), attendance reliability, and professionalism

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Portray scenario-specific roles under instructor supervision
• Attend assigned training and rehearsals as required
• Wear spandex/protective gear as required
• Adhere to safety and security protocols
• Return props/scenario documents after exercises

Required Skills and Abilities:

• U.S. citizenship, legal residency, or work authorization
• Ability to pass DHS/FLETC background check
• English proficiency
• Meet physical and character requirements of assigned scenarios
• Professional conduct; reliability
• Professional appearance and hygiene
• U.S. citizenship/residency status
• No history of communicable diseases
• No criminal disqualifications
• Ability to follow instruction and work safely

Physical Demands and Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the IC is regularly required to talk, listen, and write. The IC frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The IC must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
