Part-Time Pharmacist - Ringgold, GA

The Pharmacist is responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations to ensure the safe, accurate, and compliant dispensing of medications. This role reviews and interprets physician orders, monitors drug therapies, provides medication counseling and pharmacological guidance to patients and healthcare providers, and ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations, including DEA and 340B program requirements. The Pharmacist supervises pharmacy staff and technician workflow, manages inventory and vendor relationships, coordinates with pharmacy management partners, and participates in leadership and departmental meetings. Additionally, this position maintains a safe work environment, supports staff development, and contributes to high-quality patient care and operational excellence.

This is a part-time position working 1–2 days per week, with additional PRN coverage responsibilities to support pharmacist staffing needs during vacations and other planned absences.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience
• Graduate degree from an accredited pharmacy college recognized by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE)
• Valid GA pharmacist license (or must meet education requirement(s) for state licensure)
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification upon hire
• Strong mathematical skills and understanding of science
• Ability to measure substances accurately
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to detect and investigate mistakes in a patient's medications and prescriptions
• In-depth knowledge of drugs and their potential side effects

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Completion of an emergency contraception training course approved by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE), curriculum-based programs from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy, applicable state or local health department programs, or programs recognized by the board of pharmacy upon hire.
• 340b Experience a plus but not required

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Ringgold, GA.

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Ringgold,GA.
