Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking General Laborer to join our grounds maintenance team in Flovilla, GA . The General Laborer will report directly to the Grounds Superintendent and assist in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the campground. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Grounds Superintendent in daily maintenance tasks, including but not limited to landscaping, lawn care, and general upkeep of the campground.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of facilities, structures, and equipment.
• Knowledge of minor plumbing and general home maintenance repairs.
• Assist with the setup and teardown of equipment and decorations for events and activities.
• Ensure all areas are kept clean and free of debris, including walkways, parking lots, and common areas.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete assigned tasks.
• Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or concerns to the Grounds Superintendent.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies and communicate any needs for replenishment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in general labor or groundskeeping preferred.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping and maintenance techniques.
• Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
