Job details:

Position: Registered Nurse (Operating Room) SNSN SN
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Shift: Days – 3x12s (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Duration: 15 weeks

Job Duties

• Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical service lines.
• Assist in surgical procedures including Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, Orthopedics, and more.
• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and sterile fields.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and procedures per facility protocols.
• Float within facility and to outpatient settings as needed.
• Participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations as required.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (State of Georgia or compact)
• Minimum 4 years of Operating Room experience (HARD STOP)
• Required experience in: Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics
• Unit requires strong multi-specialty OR experience
• Minimum 3 years travel/clinical experience (no first-time travelers)
• BLS (AHA) required (ACLS may be required – confirm with recruiter)
• Ability to pass clinical screening
