Sales Associate
Overview
The Sales Associate is essential in cultivating leads and overseeing the sales pipeline for designated regions, primarily through outbound calls. This role involves establishing robust relationships with potential clients and assessing leads throughout the sales process. To succeed, candidates must be highly motivated, target-driven, inquisitive, and adaptable, excelling in a dynamic environment while consistently achieving daily activity objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of products, value propositions, and market positioning.
- Create a focused outbound sales strategy tailored to specific financial institution profiles and roles.
- Promptly follow up on and qualify incoming leads generated by the marketing team.
- Engage with leads daily to evaluate their objectives, current stage in the purchasing process, and financial capacity.
- Meet sales goals and lead conversion rates established by management.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with marketing and CRM software is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain focus on tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
- Understanding of outbound communication best practices and a proactive stance towards industry developments.
- Strong analytical capabilities for monitoring data collection and utilizing reporting tools to evaluate performance.
- Ability to clearly articulate the value proposition in both written and verbal formats.
- Skilled in simplifying complex concepts and ideas succinctly, employing excellent presentation and communication skills (both in-person and via phone).
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
