Night Crew Lead (Full Time)

: Night Crew Lead (Full Time) Lead nightly stocking crew in storing and stocking equipment, material, and merchandise on store salesfloor and in the overstock area. Night lead will also oversee the night cleaning of the store Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform a walkthrough of the store at the start of each shift to examine inventory and merchandise to identify a plan of action for replenishment.
• Assign nightly duties to all night crew from replenishment to cleaning duties.
• Train all night crew members on job related procedures such as, stock storage location tracking and accessibility, height and weight limits for pallet racking, and quantities.
• Work with store management as a liaison between night crew and daily staff/ management. Provide feedback on staffing needs, current staff abilities or issues, and pass along any and all concerns to store management promptly.
• Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
• Mark stock items, using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.

Supervisory Requirements

• Directly supervises 2-6 night employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Keep store management in the know about employee relations and inner workings of the night shift.
• Qualifications & Education Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred
• 2+ year of previous stocking or inventory experience preferred
• 2+ years of experience managing others
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve quickly would be an asset for this position
• Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand
• Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time

Additional Notes

• This position is a key holder and will be responsible for locking up the store at night and may be asked to return to the store after hours for alarms.
• This is a lead position but you are still responsible to work directly with the store manager on all employee relations issues, up to and including terminations.
