This position may be located in **Columbus, OH, Atlanta, GA or Remote Eastern US.** The Health Analytics Division specializes in developing advanced Information Technology and Data Management solutions for our government and commercial clients. **Responsibilities** + Solving technical problems using computer science and systems development approaches in areas that require mathematical and/or statistical methods and knowledge + Communicating on a regular basis with project leaders, team members and client stakeholders including mathematicians, computer scientists, statisticians, epidemiologist, and engineers + Proactively managing expectations and meeting deadlines in a fast moving, agile software development environment + Conducting and participating in assigned projects with minimum supervision and within time and budget constraints + Continued job performance improvement through on-the-job training and outside study + Thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment solving problems in a variety of application areas + Minimal domestic travel **Key Qualifications** + US Citizenship required. Candidates must be able to obtain Security clearances as required by clients + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Science, or Computer Engineering + Demonstrated competency in object-oriented programming with Java/JavaEE or C# + Demonstrated experience with web development technologies such as HTML, XML, JSON, CSS, and JavaScript and accompanying frameworks and libraries (e.g., jQuery, Bootstrap, etc.) + Demonstrated experience with SQL and relational database engines such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle + Demonstrated competency with development tools (e.g., NetBeans, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, etc.) + Excellent written and oral communication skills + Demonstrated ability to meet competing deadlines successfully **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining software in deadline-driven environments + Experience with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design and implementation + Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, SAS, R, C, or C++ Experience working in Agile software development environments + Experience designing, implementing, and integrating RESTful APIs + Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue) + Experience participating in requirements gathering, developing user documentation, and writing clear, maintainable, and well-commented code + Experience with Linux-based operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, Red Hat, or CentOS) + Experience using version control systems (e.g., Git, Subversion, or Mercurial) + Experience using containerization technologies (e.g., Docker or Kubernetes) + Experience with Battelle or contract research organization **Benefits: Live an Extraordinary Life** We care about your well-being, not just on the job.
