This full-time position offers a balanced 7-on/7-off schedule with strong APP support, a manageable patient load, and the opportunity to practice advanced GI procedures in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Perform advanced GI procedures, including ERCP and EUS (required)
- Manage approximately 5–8 new consults daily, with a total of 23 patients per day
- Collaborate with APPs for efficient patient care delivery
- Provide inpatient gastroenterology services from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM during your scheduled week
- Maintain strong communication with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of the GI service line
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Advanced GI fellowship training preferred (ERCP and EUS required)
- Active Georgia medical license (or eligibility)
- Open to both new graduates and experienced physicians
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and team collaboration
