Join TRINITY GENERAL CONTRACTING LLC as a Carpenter/Leadman in Valdosta, GA, where your skills will lead our projects to success. We are looking for a dedicated professional to oversee carpentry tasks and mentor a team of skilled workers. Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise carpentry projects from start to finish
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Train and mentor junior carpenters and apprentices
- Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and budgets
- Inspect and assess work for quality and accuracy
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Proven experience as a carpenter, with leadership skills
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus
