Registered Nurse,

This Registered Nurse position requires a minimum of two years of experience in acute care inpatient oncology. The RN will provide skilled nursing care to patients, focusing on patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The role necessitates strong communication and collaboration skills within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Providing skilled nursing care to patients in an acute care inpatient oncology setting.
- Conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team (physicians, other nurses, etc.).
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Working effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of two years of experience in acute care inpatient oncology.
- BLS certification.
- Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
- Interdisciplinary team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.

Special Considerations:

- Must work two major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve) out of the three offered.
- 7a-7p shift, 16-week assignment.
