Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant, you will manage daily financial operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting processes. You’ll serve as a trusted financial advisor to the General Manager and act as a key liaison between our U.S. office and the headquarters in China.

Accounting & Financial Management

• Manage daily bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable.

• Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow.

• Collaborate with the finance team at Sany headquarters in China.

• Perform monthly closings and generate financial statements.

• Coordinate internal and external audits.

• Work with external consultants to ensure timely and accurate tax reporting and filing.

• Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing budget monitoring.

• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decision-making.

• Maintain accurate system data and administer updates to financial records.

• Keep vendor and customer records current in the accounting system.

Cross-Functional & Customer Interaction

• Deliver excellent internal and external customer service, including occasional customer interactions to finalize financial transactions.

• Act as a key financial advisor to the General Manager, offering insights on financial performance and strategic decisions.

• Collaborate closely with the sales, service, and corporate teams to ensure operational efficiency.

• Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

Growth & Leadership Potential

• This position is designed to grow with the business. The right candidate will have the opportunity to progress into a Finance Manager role and beyond.

Qualifications & Skills

We are looking for a proactive, organized professional with a strong accounting background and a collaborative mindset.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).

• 3–5 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or audit experience (experience in the heavy equipment, construction, or automotive industry preferred).

• Bilingual: Fluent in English and Chinese (required).

• Proficient in Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).

• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• CPA license or Big Four accounting firm experience is a plus.
