Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and professional Counter Sales Associate to join our team in {NAME}, United States. As the face of our company, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing sales transactions and product inquiries.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection, answering questions, and providing expert advice
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system
- Maintain a clean and organized sales counter and surrounding areas
- Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal customer service and sales performance
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and effectively
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and company policies
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting regular stock checks
- Support other branch activities as needed, such as receiving shipments and organizing warehouse areas
- Participate in maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to company safety policies and procedures
- Contribute to achieving sales targets and key performance indicators
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of customer service experience in a retail or related environment
- Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Excellent communication and active listening abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office software
- Analytical skills to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- HVAC industry experience is preferred but not required
- Experience with warehouse operations and forklift operation is a plus
