Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and professional Counter Sales Associate to join our team in {NAME}, United States. As the face of our company, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing sales transactions and product inquiries.

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection, answering questions, and providing expert advice
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system
• Maintain a clean and organized sales counter and surrounding areas
• Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal customer service and sales performance
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and effectively
• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and company policies
• Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting regular stock checks
• Support other branch activities as needed, such as receiving shipments and organizing warehouse areas
• Participate in maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to company safety policies and procedures
• Contribute to achieving sales targets and key performance indicators

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2-4 years of customer service experience in a retail or related environment
• Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Excellent communication and active listening abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office software
• Analytical skills to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• HVAC industry experience is preferred but not required
• Experience with warehouse operations and forklift operation is a plus
