Functional Consultant

Akkodis is seeking a Functional Consultant for a Contract with a client in Atlanta, GA/Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate must have strong SAP Security & Authorization expertise to create compliant security roles and support production environments while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Functional Consultant job responsibilities include:

• Analyze, design, and maintain SAP security roles, profiles, and authorization objects across ECC, MDG, and BTP to meet compliance and business requirements.

• Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and developers to deliver secure, auditable SAP solutions aligned with SOX and internal security standards.

• Ensure audit readiness by contributing to SAP security policies, procedures, risk mitigation strategies, and best‑practice documentation.

• Provide production support for security incidents, user provisioning, and project deployments while ensuring adherence to established security methodology.

• Perform ongoing security assessments, monitor access risks, and coordinate security aspects of new implementations and enhancements.

• Create and maintain security standards and technical documentation while communicating complex security concepts to stakeholders and leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• 8–10 years of experience, including a minimum of 6+ years in SAP Security design, implementation, and administration.

• Strong expertise in SAP Security & Authorization across ECC, MDG, and BTP—covering role design, compliance, authentication, IAS/IPS administration, and federation/trust configurations.

• Proven experience working on enterprise‑level SAP projects with hands‑on involvement in production support, SOX‑compliant security practices, and cross‑functional collaboration with business and technical teams.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $68.00 per hour
