Medical Scheduler – Call Center

Location: Atlanta, GA | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• $18.50/hour
• Hours: Must be available for all shifts between 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, including overtime as needed
• W2 employment
• 12/1/2025 Start Date

ROLE IMPACT

Join a top diagnostics provider where your healthcare knowledge and call center expertise directly impact patient access and satisfaction. You'll be the first point of contact for patients needing imaging and diagnostic services—ensuring accurate scheduling, patient education, and data entry in a high-volume environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedule diagnostic appointments across multiple sites using digital tools
• Input patient demographics, insurance, and referral details accurately
• Explain exam prep and site directions to patients and providers
• Manage high call volumes while navigating multiple systems
• Collaborate with referring offices to complete documentation and address escalations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–3 years in medical scheduling, patient access, or healthcare customer service
• 1+ year in a high-volume call center environment
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills a plus

CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS

• Electronic scheduling platforms
• Multi-screen data entry software
• Call center queue systems (e.g., Cisco, Avaya)

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience with multi-location imaging scheduling
• Knowledge of medical terminology and exam protocols
• Familiarity with insurance verification processes
