Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Development and Operations Engineer - Senior to join our team. This role involves working on-site in Alpharetta, GA, and will require expertise in Kubernetes, AWS services, Linux administration, and Java application management. The position is initially a 1-year contract with the potential for extension. Candidates must be local and available to work on-site 5 days a week once the work-from-home order is lifted. A HackerRank exercise will be part of the interview process.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and create Kubernetes clusters, including proficiency with kubectl.
• Perform Linux administrative tasks such as security patching, log searching, and general system maintenance.
• Utilize AWS services, including MSK clusters, NoSQL databases, AWS EKS, and IAM users/groups.
• Handle AWS networking tasks, including VPC management, private links, Route 53, and network access.
• Support Java applications in both production and non-production environments.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including cluster management and kubectl.
• Proficiency in Linux administration, including security patching and log analysis.
• Experience with AWS services such as MSK clusters, NoSQL databases, AWS EKS, and IAM.
• Knowledge of AWS networking, including VPCs, private links, and Route 53.
• Basic understanding of Java programming and application management.

Pay Range: $50 - $75

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
